Dr. Becca Riesenberger

Veterinarian

Auburn University

Professional Interests: Internal Medicine, Dentistry, and Dermatology

My Story

Dr. Riesenberger earned her bachelor’s degree in 2022 from the University of Delaware, where she pursued a pre-veterinary degree. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

Dr. Riesenberger has a particular interest in internal medicine, with a special passion for endocrine diseases and complex medical cases. She also has a soft spot for bulldogs and enjoys caring for the unique medical needs and personalities that come with the breed. Above all, she values building strong, trusting relationships with her clients and strives to create an environment where both pets and their families feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Her love for animals began at a young age. Growing up in a home filled with a variety of pets including cats, dogs, turtles, geckos, hermit crabs, and fish. Dr. Riesenberger knew early on that she wanted to become a veterinarian. During veterinary school, she adopted two cats who have since become an important part of her family: Aubie, an orange tabby, and Fiona (“Fefe”), a gray tabby. She has even taught Aubie to sit and shake, while Fiona has mastered the art of fetching.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Riesenberger enjoys spending time at the shore, being outdoors, and finding opportunities to be near the water. She also enjoys completing puzzles and attending New York Yankees games. She is currently training for two half marathons and looks forward to continuing to participate in races in the future.

" From the scheduling, to the front desk, to the techs and Dr. Roth my entire experience was exceptional. Clean new facility, easy access and parking. The entire team cared enough to take the time to thoroughly address all of my concerns and review my dog’s history to get a full holistic picture of her health before assessing the immediate problem that brought us in. I never felt rushed, and their patience and thoroughness made me feel confident in her care. I was able to stay with my dog through most of her exam keeping her calm and giving me a chance to better understand what the issues were and ask clarifying questions. Superb experience. So glad they have come to the neighborhood. "
